Lady Diana, Princess of Wales, is one of those characters from history who your heart aches for. Her life seemed like a glamorous, dramatic, lonely place. I was 9 years old when she died, and I can remember exactly where I was, who I was with, and what I was doing. Sure she was stunning. Sure she married into royalty. But Diana always still seemed like one of us. She seemed kind and gracious and human.
